Since we were both brought up here, there is no better location for our wedding than the Suffolk countryside...

The "I Do's"

St Mary Magdalene Church, Debenham

Julia's home village church is set back from the high street in Debenham, Suffolk.
This 1000+ year old church is where Julia and Henry have chosen to publicly declare their love for one another and make the step to become Husband and Wife.

The Party

As passionate Christians, for us the wedding ceremony is the most important part of the day, however our wedding just wouldn’t be complete without a party:

Crows Hall, Debenham

Mere minutes form the church, set in the grounds of a 16th century Manor house, the Crows Hall Tudor long barn is playing host to the days informal celebrations.
With welcome drinks on the lawn, and games among the stunningly well kept gardens, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained while we wait to be seated for the wedding breakfast.

We'd love to welcome evening guests onsite from 6:30pm, and with ample parking onsite everyone is sure to get a space! The manor house is surrounded by a beautiful moat - so please do keen an eye on children at all times.

We are scheduled to leave at around 10pm, however the party doesn’t have to stop there. Carriages are politely requested to be no later than 11pm, giving you plenty of time to celebrate their marriage even after we have left. There are local taxis available to pre-book (sorry, no Uber in rural Suffolk) and you can find their contact details on the accommodation page. If you want to have a drink and leave your car that’s completely fine, although cars should be collected from 12pm on Sunday.
